“In Hollywood, I’m obese. I’m considered a fat actress. I’m Val Kilmer in that one picture on the beach. … I’m never going to starve myself for a part. I keep waiting for that one role to come along that scares me enough into dieting, and it just can’t happen. I’m invincible. … I don’t want little girls to be like, ‘Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I’m going to skip dinner.’ That’s something that I was really conscious of during training, when you’re trying to get your body to look exactly right. I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong, not thin and underfed.” (via Jennifer Lawrence Talks Weight, Compares Herself To Val Kilmer)
And she should never starve herself, because she is the best actress in Hollywood and one of the only true role models for girls everywhere. LOVE YOURSELF and treat your body well regardless of what everyone else thinks you should do.

So late in posting, but I finally got it! First pic was October 2010 two months before husband and I got married. Second pic was taken this year, two months before our 2 year anniversary. Lots of changes.
I would have never worn this costume, my confidence before was non existent when it came to clothing and dressing up in costumes. I rocked my costume this year and felt great!
125 lbs gone, 10 lbs to go for my goal. But if I don’t get there I’m pretty content with my image and confidence now :)

My body is not shameful
Just because you’re uncomfortable doesn’t mean you have to make me feel bad that I’m not
I normally wouldn’t reblog real boobs, but this is a good message.
Love this and will always reblog
A man bares his chest and it’s totally ok, sexy or not. A woman bares hers and SHAME ON YOU YOU ATTENTION SEEKING SLUT.
I really really REALLY like the last picture.
